JJ: I don’t really do much hanging but if I go out I would say… The Zinc, Creole Cafe and Fat Cat(Equally)

KB: Lifeguard!!!!!!!!!!!  Outside in a bathing suit all day an twirling a whistle!

KB: Kind

KB:  I am deathly afraid of heights.

NBJP:      How old were you when you first sang in front of an audience (other than you family)? Do you remember what  song you sang?

KB:The Irish soldier boy. I was 8.

NBJP:      What’s your favorite city to visit?

KB:Washington DC!

NBJP:      What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?

KB: Hot Fudge Sundae!

KB: Vic….playing with him…….

VJ: The Cello is my fav inst to listen to

NBJP:      Who’s your favorite non-jazz composer?

VJ: My fav non jazz composer is Chopin

NBJP:      What inspires you creatively?

VJ: My inspiration comes from nature, weather, and listening to others..

NBJP:      What’s one thing other than milk or water we’d ALWAYS find in your refrigerator?

VJ: Lots of yogurt, Vitamin Zero water in the fridge,

NBJP:      What’s your favorite jazz club to perform in?

VJ: My fav jazz club is the 55 bar, NYC and the Green Mill in Chicago, also Paradiso in Ottowa, Canada

NBJP:      When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

VJ: As a child I wanted to be a musician

NBJP:      If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

VJ: I would like to change from the worry wart that I am…..Let things go with the flow a lot more

NBJP: If you could live anywhere on the planet, where would that be?

DS: In a country and a planet where people had learned to get along with each other
and had the compassion to help those less fortunate, and would work together for that goal regardless of their political affiliation

NBJP: You are a musician, is there another art in which you’d like to be accomplished?

DS:  The art of compassion.  The art of charitable good deeds and  helping those less fortunate.  The art of forgiveness. The art of the Golden Rule.

NBJP:  If you were about to have your last meal, what would it be?

DS:  Enough food to give sustenance to those throughout this country and the world that are hungry.

NBJP: What’s your favorite jazz tune? (Today–we understand your answer might be different on a different day!)

DS:  Nefertiti by Wayne Shorter

NBJP: What’s your favorite guilty pleasure (G-or at least PG rated)?

DS:  Golf and exercise.  (I feel guilty for not working out enough.  I’m going to try and change that soon).

NBJP: If you could only own one record/CD, what would it be?

DS: Grant Green – I Want to Hold Your Hand

NBJP: What’s the worst job you ever had?

DS:  Working at a Bottling Company in Omaha NE

NBJP: What would you want to be if you weren’t a jazz musician?

CT: Not quite sure but if would definitely involve helping people in
some way!

NBJP: What inspires you creatively?

CT: Hearing other great music/musicians Inspires me

NBJP: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

CT: A carpenter

NBJP: If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

CT: Um…i’ll get back to you on that one….

NBJP: What’s your favorite jazz club to be a guest in?

CT: Any that are gracious enough to have me and my band!!

CT: Stevie Wonder

NBJP: If you could live anywhere, where would that be?

CT: Well I’m an options type of guy so before I could honestly answer that question I want to do some more traveling!
